Circle of Poison

Laila and Sarah came into the city Friday night to meet me at the Roxie, where the new documentary Circle of Poison aired as the main feature of an environmental film festival.

It is a great film, IMHO, funded via Kickstarter. They traveled all over the world, visiting places where pesticides have harmed people and the land they work on. They also documented how some communities are turning away from poisons to grow food and returning to sustainable agriculture, which is how we grew our food throughout history -- until the end of World War 2.

It was great to attend the event with two of my daughters!
