A Poem, Son to Father

My son gave me a poem last night, Invictus. Here is the first verse:

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

He told me he believes I am "truly unconquerable."

I don't know whether he is right about me, but I will try to live up to his vision of his father.

A magnificent poem- especially knowing the background of the author. What an honor for your son to give this great poem to you. It really shows how highly he esteems you.
